Once a Quartar the Club holds workshops and group builds on all types of modeling from Armor, Airplanes, Cars, Figures, to Dioramas. Every month the Club has training classes on products and techniques on improving everyone's modeling skills.
Workshop for this Quarter
The first Quarter of the year 2026 the Scale Model Club of The Villages will be offering Figure Painting. This Class has some cost to it but you will be learning the basics of figure painting.
Figure Painting

February Meeting
This month's meeting was with John Ross informing the group how to do Photoetch and using the right tool for the job and how to glue Photoetch to you model
January Meeting update
January's meeting was airbrush usage and cleaning. The class was instructed by John Ross A lot of great questions were asked during this very informative time.
December Meeting Update
December's meeting was on Paint Finishes with our guest speaker Tim Kasper! An incredible session with some hands on demonstration. Tim also shared his steps and tools on getting an incredible paint job on automobiles. The Club wants to thank Tim for his time and dedication to our hobby.
November meeting Workshop Talk
On November 4th our topic was on Masking, the Class was led by John Ross. If you missed it, john covered the many ways of masking. John provided material, tools and product.
